A Letter From the Executive Director

Welcome to the James L West Alzheimer Center. I hope you enjoy browsing our website. In these pages you will discover the differences that have made the West Center our area’s most respected provider of services to those with Alzheimer’s disease, since 1993. When Eunice West first envisioned a center devoted to families dealing with Alzheimer’s disease, it was in honor of her husband, Fort Worth philanthropist James L West, who suffered from the disease. From the beginning, the West Center Foundation, Board of Directors and staff have worked to bring Mrs. West’s vision to life, and to provide accessible, high quality, compassionate care and support for persons with Alzheimer’s disease and their families. Our philosophy of care is simple—to be there for those who need us, to find deep understanding of their needs as individuals, and to constantly improve our services so that we remain true to our mission. Please visit us soon. We look forward to serving you and your family.

Sincerely,

Susan Farris
Executive Director
